The P.R. FORTILAM 84 R ceiling system features 84 mm x 12.5 mm _+ 10% panels, which are roll formed from 0.50 mm thick G. I sheet. These panels are designed with a PVC wooden skin plate, coated with 140-160 microns of polyvinylchloride on the front side. The G. I sheet utilized has a zinc coating of 150 GSM, following the standard UNI EN 10346:2009. Light reflection properties are in compliance with ASTM E-1477-98. The 84 R ceiling panels are securely fixed onto roll formed carriers that measure 32 mm wide and 39 mm deep, crafted from 0.6 mm G. I coil, featuring cutouts to accommodate the panels in a module of 100 mm at a maximum spacing of 1.2 m c/c without insulation, and up to 1.5 m c/c when insulation is included. The materials used must meet corrosion resistance standards, specifically the salt fog test as per EN13523-8 and ASTM B117-16 for 300 hours. These carriers are suspended from the roof or truss using 4 mm diameter galvanized steel wire rod hangers with a special height adjustment suspension clip at maximum 1.3 m c/c. The hangers are attached to the roof using 'J' hooks or ceiling brackets along with nylon inserts. Additionally, the materials must pass fire tests in accordance with BIS 476 PART 6:1989+A 1:2009 & PART 7:1997, and the raw materials must comply with EN13501-1:2019 A2S2D0 standards.
